I'm reading the book 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher. In the book so far a boy named Clay goes home from school one day and there's a strange package on his door step. Clay opens the box and listens to the tape inside the box out in the garage. Clay starts playing the tape and a girl he used to like named Hannah started talking, Hannah started to explain that everyone who has ever hurt her will be receiving these tapes but Clay was supposedly the first one. Hannah explains to Clay that everyone must listen to these tapes or they will be reveled to all the public to hear, she says she's got her eyes on them and will make sure she is heard. Clay is very confused and said he remembers that he used to like Hannah but it never really got too far, he says he wishes he would have got to know her better.
This book is very interesting, it really keeps you pulled in and want to keep reading. I wasn't immediately engaged but it didn't take long to really get into the book. I feel very amused while reading this but also very confused how someone really could send out tapes to others who made them kill themselves. This book is so good and I'd suggest it to anyone.
I agree, it is an interesting book. The premise is absurd, yet believable. I hope you continue to get further in the book over the next week.
