The main character of my book is called LATIFA. Her personality trait was her dreamed of one day becoming a journalist: she was interested in fashion, movies, and friends.  Her motivation was to describe the way things were falling apart in her country, in the name of a fanatical interpretation of a faith that she could not comprehend. The inner qualities of the author were her voice capturing a lost innocence, but also echoes her determination to live in freedom and hope.   I admire the author. She stood for a cause. Her cause was to let the world know of the cure tale of many violations of human rights towards women in her country by the Taliban. The author reminded me about the people of Sudan, where women and children have been maltreated by gun men.
