The ending of the book "my Forbidden face" was satisfying to me. the book bring me to the reality of the Middle Eastern life. My favorite part about the ending was its sad ending. The book ends in the current state that kabul is in now. It begains with  the author and her family eventually reaching the point of complete boredom. Her mother gets sick and her father begains to lose the hope that both him and the author shared.The ending of the book tells of the author boldest and most courageous act. She messaged the Afghan Embassy in paris. Her courage allows her to pursue despite the Taliban wrath. Moreover, when they reached paris she is not allowed to go back to Afghanistan because the Tailban found out that they escaped the country.

If I was to ask the author a question, I could ask weather her dreamed of becoming a journalist, and her interest in fashion, movies, and friends were acheieved after she and her family escaped Afghanistan. I could asked this question because the beginning of the book tells of these dreams.
