the main character in my books name is Darin, right now in the book he is facing a "murder" in his mindset...even though he did not murder this girl he accidentally hit her with his car because she crossed at the wrong point on a street and he hit and killed her. this book is a memoir so the feeling are true and real he feels so bad for what he did because he sees all that she was doing at school and how many friends she had and then going to her funeral and meeting her parents really got to him. he knows that he is alive and she is dead and he hasn't been acting right since the accident. i think he gets some sort of closure because at the funeral the girl who he hit and killed's dad told him to "live twice the life" one her him and one for her, so he realized that not everybody was mad at him but felt bad for him to because he didn't really mean to do it. he is still facing the everyday struggle of how he killed a girl and how he continues to live on, even though he wished he would have died instead of her.
