My favorite book happens to be A Child Called It. I read it back in middle school and it has been my favorite book ever since. Even though it is a very sad and upsetting book... I thought it was really good. The book made me have a lot of mixed emotions. Sad, mad, hurt, betrayed, etc... And if any of you have read this book you would probably understand why I felt like that. Just thinking about the book makes me angry because nobody should have to go through that.
After reading this book I wanted to just go help children who have/get abused at home, or just anywhere and help anybody who is in need of it. There are parts in this book that just made me want to cry and I had to stop reading because it was so sickening what he had to go through. Anybody who is interested in books that make you emotional and really get you involved in the story, you should definitely read this one.
