Defining a Single Word

Having to write what my thoughts are on genocide isn't exactly easy. There are many thoughts that run through my head when I see or hear that word. My first thought is, why? Why would a particular group of people believe they have all the power in the world to create whatever they want? They're not God, so how do these people have this tremendous power? My next initial thought is, how? How could you stand there and watch people, just like you, being sentenced to their deaths? All the stories behind one word is mind blowing, All the people that have been lost because of that same word is astonishing. Having to write out what I think about that specific word is not something I cannot do. My only definition of genocide would be: hell.
